What we collect
When you use ScoutCity as a customer, we collect your name, phone number, and order history. When you register as a vendor, we additionally collect your business details, address, payment records, and, if submitted, your CAC registration certificate for verification purposes.
How we use it
To operate your account, process vendor listing payments through Paystack, connect you with vendors via WhatsApp, and, for the referral program, track and pay out referral rewards. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Payment data
Card and bank details are handled entirely by Paystack, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. We retain only the transaction reference and amount.
Business verification documents
CAC certificates submitted for business verification are stored privately and are only accessible to ScoutCity staff reviewing your application, and they are never publicly visible.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account at any time by contacting hello@scoutcity.app.
